From the depths of my heart
I find words of comfort
To write what i feel
That eases so much pain
Written words of comfort
That come from my soul
Sweeping to the pages
As my thoughts begin to unfold
They tell of love lost
Speaking of joy found
Touching quiet moments
When no one else around
They tell of how I feel
With music words sound
Follow certain patterns
The beauty of love around
They converse
Of what my eyes have seen
In my slumber plus dreams
To touch the lives of others
To fullfill and not demean
For they are pieces of my soul

THE ONLY ELEMENT, LIKE GUM
In India, resides a peculiar element, indium, which possesses a unique characteristic – it's as malleable and gentle as bubble gum. For years, I've held onto a lump of this indium, but it wasn't until recently that I dared to take a bite. Surprisingly, sinking my teeth into it wasn't the daunting task I imagined. Like refrigerated Milk Duds, it softened gradually in my mouth, its metallic nature discernible through the vibrations of its twinning crystals.
