Sorrow

This never ending sorrow,

Thinking it will be better tomorrow.

Not knowing what it will bring,

But I'm sure my life is being held by a string.

I know what I feel won't go away,

So here I hold my breath and pray.

This isn't something you can see,

Because it's hiding within me.

People say I'm going through a phase,

That I will soon forget, truth is, it won't erase.

I cover up my face with a smile,

But it only lasts for a while.

I try to hold everything; to be stronger,

I just don't know if I can hold it any longer.

I'm sad to read of how deeply you suffer in sorrow. Turn to God and open your bible, the answer to your prayers of relief and understanding of these emotions is within the words of the Lord.
