A melody sung with a pen
With a message none less strong
It can dig deeper than a thousand men
Digging deep to the world of fantasy
Reigning heavy with the world of truths
Extending its reaches in mortality
Speaking of ancients to youths
A poem, a frozen thought
That you remember in silence
A smile on your lips that was reportedly caught
Revealing a poet's true alignments
In understanding its subsiding harmonies
You can open a door to your mind
To sing of all your curiosities
That no longer must be confined
A poem, a creative confidence
To be spoken and heard
A poem, a stream of consciousness
A story to be sung, but never slurred
