Motivation

Starting out is easy;

That ain't the hardest part.

But what is is to keep on going;

That's what separates your heart

from the winners and losers,

they have their own marks

because beggars can't be choosers

but you can fight for your start.

The emptiness that once was,

it's crawling back inside.

I don't know how to deal with it,

all I want to do is hide.

Well I tell myself no!

That's not how it's going to be.

I ain't going to be trapped

in this lonely misery.

I will fight for what's right,

and will make it out on my own.

I don't need anybody to tell me

that I need to go home

when my home is right here

right where I am now.

I refuse to leave,

I refuse to bow down.

The motivation I needed

I had all along.

This is my reminder

to be tough and be strong.
