Amnesia

Maybe one day I'll wake up with no memory

I won't remember anyone or anything

it'll be like a fresh start

I won't remember all the pain I felt over the years

& I won't remember the tears I use to drown in.

I'll be able to think of you and not feel a thing cause I won't know you

I'll go to sleep at night without crying &

I'll wake up in the morning pain free

A life with no memory seems to be the life of every dream

But it's not...

If I lost my memory

I won't remember how good my life was

I won't remember the taste of your lips when you kissed me,

I won't remember how good it felt to lay in your arms at night,

I won't remember your laugh or your smile... not even your voice

So yea maybe one day I'll wake up with no memory

But I'll also wake up

Empty
