Poetically Unpoetic

Poetry

not good at poems speaking the language of the non spoken, a language so understood until it isn't. when you want to express your inner thoughts to the world but not, screaming can you hear me! but also... hey did you get that. we want to convey a message so felt that many will profess they can relate... but do they.

I've always wondered how people could pull something so deep from their soul that I have been feeling my whole life, able to express what kept me speechless. poets speaking a language of their own creating riddles dancing on the edge of our brains. now you're reading this saying "I thought this was one of those traditional poems," no. sorry not at all. just because i'm not following the rules doesn't mean this isn't poetry.

poetically unpoetic in a since of pathetic, i'm stuck in a world ready to jet it. don't stop me the decision has been made because the girl they all knew started to fade. crawling into the pit of despair they whispered are you there. I stare back blankness in my eyes for I the girl retreats to the skies.
