She waited for his kind her entire life
His kind of love could only be that of the forbidden fruit, so she thought
As if he had all the answers to her deepest sea of questions
All other ships sink along the way
She never gives up hope that his would crash into her waves some day
She became as cold as the Atlantic
How would he ever survive her glaciers
But he does
His warm light melts years of ice cold boulders that live inside her. He dives in and swims inside her waters, He fights off her killer sharks, He fights off her thunder storms, He drinks up all her rain water. He tells her your ocean is my home, I don't need a ship to sail your sea, these waves were always meant for me
