These are some Triolets that I wrote for my classes. I wanted you guys to see them. Enjoy!
A high school day
What makes the school day fly by?
Smile the day away.
How about when you're sad inside?
What makes the school day fly by?
What about when you want to die,
no matter how much you pray?
What makes the school day fly by?
Smile the day away.
Better Run
Black folks, Run!
Before the cops kill!
Duck away from the gun!
Black folks, Run!
I hope I'm not the next one.
Blood is gonna spill.
Black folks, Run!
Before the cops kill.
