~The infection in her heart made it hard for her to hurt anymore, as it felt like a plague.

~So many had taken her purity and just left her to suffer her inner monsters alone.

~She was afraid of the dark side, but she was getting used to her fate.

~Finally seeing the world as it is, she turned away from the last person to break her heart, and ran.

~He watched as someone so small was able to run so fast, with such power brought upon her soul.

~She felt nothing anymore, as her heart had Finally given in to her demons.

~She was embraced by her mother, but even that did not help, and her emotionless expression stayed.

~She secluded herself and wondered if her heart would be able to love again, but then she had a thought in mind.

~Maybe she didn’t need anyone anymore, and her heart was telling her that, begging her to stop looking.

~She Laid on her bed, and dreamt that her father was next to her, able to support her as she slowly became no one.

~When she awoke, she felt crusty tears on her cheeks as her soul tour apart, realizing the reality that she lived.

~She came to the conclusion that she should worry only about herself, not trusting anyone that came along.

About the Creator

Gentherly Coronado

I love to write poetry, and it can be quite dark at times. One thing about all of it, is that it comes from my heart. Everything I write is based on my life, and hopefully some of my words touch someone’s heart.
