Planetary Parenthood

Birth & other miscellany

You amazed me 26 years ago when you took your first residence inside my womb

I had waited for you my whole life

The journey to you was fraught with people misconceptions and sad superstitions

I fought hard to gain balance where there was little

I sang you sweet rhyme as they settled you in with stitch in time

They continued to throw slurs & superstitions your way but I just swayed on by

Your heart beat dithered all about

As I panted and pushed your sweetness into this brand new world

The caul encased you and I knew they had been right!

The planets had aligned to bear forth a very special daughter -

You raptured me with your ability to see the unknown -

And still unrelenting they confessed this was a child so blessed-

Of course no doubt of that was I, being parent - was certain I was-

This be the child promised to me

Delivered to me

Gift that would continue to unfold in such grand glory and grace

Bella Bella Bella

How Beautiful you are -
