Placed Into the Heart of My Love

Sadness swamps his happiness and turns it to woe.

Love was a snowflake for him.

Pretty, cold and temporary in the making.

Winter's air kept his emotions frozen.

A gradual process of corrosion.

Placed into the heart of my love.

I couldn't bear to let the fierce night steal.

Knowing his mind would forget what is real.

Sadness swamps his happiness and turns it to woe.

He is as quiet and innocent as freshly fallen snow.

Placed into the heart of my love.

I wish I could give some sun rays.

Melt and evaporate the crystalised tears on display.

Provide a chance for a more fulfilling life.

I don't want to keep seeing him struggling with the strive.

Placed into the heart of my love.

Should his heart ever be made of pure flame.

I'd make sure it would scorch away the pain.

Life for him hasn't been at its sweetest.

I want to take his tomorrow back to where the heat is.

Placed into the heart of my love.
