Assignment to take phrases from magazines and create a poem. This is a reverse poem that is read and means one thing one way and can be reversed line by line to reveal a different or opposite meaning. In this case, the "forwards" way is the German perspective and the "backwards" way is the Jewish perspective. The original composition is above and both ways are written out below.

(German perspective)

There's a place for you,

But I refuse to believe

I can forgive you

For your disgusting atrocities.

Wicked storms arise to strike the masses

The cost of doing nothing causes

Superior preference to

Arise from the war’s ashes.

We shall

bleed out discolorations.

Separate colors aren't enough, you have

Tainted every level of our society.

With an establishment muse, you breathe a last breath.

Cattle trains

force perversion with red stained hands on happenings.

You cannot

Escape.

It's a mercilessly hot day with no

redemption in the mist.

Therein lies only retribution and

Genocide.

(Jewish perspective)

Genocide:

Therein lies only retribution and

redemption in the mist.

It's a mercilessly hot day with no

Escape.

You cannot

force perversion with red stained hands on happenings.

Cattle trains

breathe a last breath.

With an establishment muse, you

tainted every level of our society.

Separate colors aren't enough, you have

bled out discolorations.

We shall

arise from the war’s ashes.

Superior preference?

The cost of doing nothing causes

wicked storms arise to strike the masses.

For your disgusting atrocities,

I can forgive you

But I refuse to believe

There's a place for you.
