Pixelated

A Poem for Those Who Know of a Long Distance Relationship Online...

Days became months, She sat in silence. Awaiting a message.

Her heart breaking, plagued by pestilence.

Clinging to hope in a world of her creation.

The cruel disease known as love has become her fatal temptation.

Every pixel became a part of her tragedy. Fading into a world of technology.

On the waves of light transported to her destination, no longer alone in her imagination.

Out of reach yet everything changed in an instant. Things became more clear, less distant.

Dancing across a musical vibration, she had become one with the world of her creation.

Seasons changed but on the inside, her world remained the same.

Soon he found himself surrounded by the same silence.

Following, his heart to poisoned by pestilence.

Pulled into a world of illumination, he found himself within her creation.

Two halves of severed hearts finally became one, in a world of pixelation.
