Piano

Our Song

My body was a musical sheet and his words were the notes. Dancing to the sound of his heart. Elegance and poetry was I. I lift myself up from the ground and began to feel his love. My arms reach for the sky and I take the steps. One, two, three. I'm dancing with the melodies that lead me to his kingdom. My safe haven. I twirl to the keys of the piano and once again, I'm captured by his soft words. My love "Your love is my turning page, only the sweetest words remain." I've somehow come across a hill where the rhythm hysterically changes. Plot twist. Alone and terrified is what I become. One, two, three. One, two, three. Repeat. My legs become weak as the soft pedals overcome me. I will not stop. I must over power. Take me to his presence, for he is my Romeo and I am his Juliet—until death do us part. I gain my balance and the beauty fulfills my soul. My passion lives on. All the low keys gather up and create a promising ending. The swan is born and she lives happily ever after.
