They say a "picture is worth a thousand words."

Sometimes pictures are worth a thousand tears.

Sometimes pictures are worth a thousand memories.

A picture isn't just an image on a screen,

It's a memory.

It's a piece of our life that was captured by some insignificant object.

But it's not just some insignificant object is it?

I mean, that object HAD to have been somewhat special in order to capture a moment so special.

Right?

We focus more on a big picture rather than the tiny details.

We want to get that big picture completely right. 110% perfect. Because we want to show the world how perfect our picture is.

But often times it's the candid photos that are the perfect ones.

It's the pictures you don't expect to be taken that are always the ones worth taking.

Memories.

Moments.

Smiles.

Tears, hugs, kisses....those are all captured from single photos.

Pictures aren't just pictures as I've said before.

They're reminders of how happy we once were,

or of how sad we once were.

Sometimes you can throw in a couple angry pictures and silly pictures.

But the majority of the pictures we take,

We take to capture a very special moment.

Whether it's sad, happy or of pure admiration of an animal,

Or of a simple tree or the grass or even a cup of coffee.

We have the ability to take a snapshot of our life.

We have the means to forever cherish that memory.

So do it.

Take all the photos.

Take all the memories.

Remember why you took that picture.

Remember why that picture that you took was so significant because you never know what the future holds,

You never really know what the outcome of that picture ends up like.

Sometimes they get lost with time and history and when you're old and looking back through that photo album and you see that picture you remember everything about it.

How you were feeling.

How you were viewing the world through a small camera lens.

​In all honesty,

Pictures are really worth everything.

They're the one thing you can look back on and forever have a connection with.
