Pharaoh Lost In The Sands

A Poem

My love, my love, my love

I see you across the yellow Desert,

You wave to me with happiness from the return of your mission.

My love, my love, my love

I run to you with joy as my feet sinks down,

I hold my composure to save my excitement as I get closer to you.

My love, my love, my love

You’re getting further away from me, You stretched your hands of welcoming,

My vision is blurred by the windy sands.

My love, my love, my love

The sun shines brightly in the clear blue sky,

No cloud is in sight to stop this intense heat,

I am in need of thirst, all I care about is you at this time.

My love, my love, my love

It’s been so long and I’ve missed you,

I am in my lonesome no one can replace the love I have for you.

My love, my love, my love

Why do you look so strange to me? Your body is moving like the waves of the ocean,

I’m getting closer to you, just hold on.

My love, my love, my love

Finally at last we meet face to face,

I hug you tightly as my eyes close of peacefulness,

I seem to fall down on my hands and knees,

I looked across the desert and grabbed the hot gritty sand.

My love... My love... My love

Where are you?
