Invade this ominous wasteland, infect my mind with sorrow. Sere my thoughts of lavish hate and thrill me with a new mixture of words.

Phantom poet

Corrupt my mind

Trail your profound vocals

down my spine

Seep into my blood,

flow freely

SHow me who I am through the verses of a sonnet

Kiss my lips,

with that of a limerick

Entwine our names,

vertically rhyming

Give me a breath inside your

alphabetic ocean.

-He spoke silently to me-

Butterfly,

Oh my love

come to me

I stand before you confessing, out the soul

My heart aches at your absence

I am wounded

Your astonishing holy beauty haunts me

Sent me to the edge of madness,

I wander the streets howling your name

How did the universe conspire to create such a star?

A star whose lights illuminate even the night

Your body is a temple in which I long to worship

on my lips

Your name will linger in my praise.
