Poem

I'm a flower that blooms every spring,

But wilts and dies every fall,

Like when I wait for you to call,

With every season comes more pain,

The never ending breath of acid rain,

Pouring over my heart while it falls apart,

The tears billow and pool,

Until I'm drowning in my own sorrow filled soul,

But with every hit comes another swallow,

I just wish you would follow,

I fall down through the air,

And take another gasp of toxic air,

Another chance at living life,

Even if that life is filled with chaotic strife.

I bloom every spring,

I was once a pretty thing,

But time and age,

Has taken it all away,

The sun no longer nourishes me,

The moon freezes me,

I wilt and fade,

Just like your love did that day,

I am a flower that blooms every spring.

No longer in love with anything.
