Peanut Butter

Loss

I lick you off of the spoon

I pray you fill my emptiness inside,

you don't

the blood leaks out of my body,

for a long, long time

dizziness, and fear flood through me

two tiny souls escape my body before I can say goodbye

four little eyes

four little hands, and feet

two little still hearts,

do not beat anymore

and my heart,

has two little pieces,

missing forever

and peanut butter,

does not fill a void, of once was,

or what could be

heartbreak
