Off in the distance I see you.

The one who fills me with notions,

Notions of a kindling relationship.

Why?

Mindlessly I follow, hoping for more.

Dreams of more,

Dreams of happiness.

Hiding behind preexisting conditions,

We tread carefully.

I tiptoe behind you down this path,

This path of shadows.

I hear wolves in the distance,

Ready to pounce at the slightest hint.

Your plan.

This dangerous, exhilarating plan.
