Parents Don’t Understand

Listen Parents

Parents don't understand,

They think that us teenagers don't know

Pain,

Depression,

Anxiety,

Being a third wheel,

And

Stress

The thing is teens know more about that than anyone.

We are judged by

Race,

Clothes,

Looks,

If you are straight or gay.

Us teens know the harsh reality, our childlike innocence is gone, and will be lost forever.

Parents want us to do better and live their dream.

NOT OURS!

They forget that we are still children, and we need help sometimes, too.

So parents I ask you this,

Do you still think we don't know the harsh reality of life?
