A Story of a Paradise Lost

By James BrownbackPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Lost in each other.

Can’t seem to find the track of time.

Can’t remember the first time you called me yours.

Can’t remember the last time I called you mine.

What was all of it for?

All these emotions,

can’t shake what used to be feelings.

Feelings of the kiss of your lips upon my forehead.

Daydreaming of those moments when I shared myself with you, all of ourselves.

Between your sheets;

all of me became all of you.

No white flags posted up on our doors.

Please, don’t let go.

I could be your heaven.

I’m running, meet me by eleven.

A couple minutes and just seven more stairs.

All the way up there,

I can’t find you.

Damn, how I wish you were here.
