Pain

A Poem

It's not the pain from within that seems to always get me

It's the one on the surface that got me venting

Bits and pieces of love though hatreds aplenty

If there's any in dire need of love, your script is ready

The pain can be overwhelming,

am I bound eternally?

Depends on the will instilled, or lay in infirmary's

Sickened by the sickness I'm surrounded by daily

Can't say that it's not contagious, I'm infected already

Is quarantine not optional,

bliss it seems so impossible

Am I fated to this misery?

So farfetched, seems comical

Is my faith being tested?

That topic I've pondered

If so,

God be my strength

To conquer this obstacle

I'm not perfect, but a servant

Whats to learn from this lesson?

I've heard different perspectives

From many directions

Some say, "It may be your past that came back to haunt you."

Yeah, Ive done some dirty deeds

I don't condone, yet is possible

Not words I should consider

The truth will soon surface

Until that day's arrival

My reprisal a cometh

Not in a way that's been

blatantly defined a malevolent form

Some acquainted with that aspect

No wonder we don't get along
