Our House Became Our Home

A Poem

Through the Town of endless noise and distant faces.

Down the roads that wind and bend.

Entering the picturesque Countryside.

We found many compassionate friends.

Welcomed with open arms.

Suddenly the Journey was all worthwhile.

I look around here there’s no strangers.

Just friends wearing smiles.

We live in a new world now.

And we are thankful for it everyday.

For here time stands still.

And even when Skies are Grey...

We are Breathing in the Beauty...

Of the Wonder all around.

The fields are a Blanket of Peace to me.

I lay among them, they wrap around...

The air here soothes your lungs...

As the Wind Whispers your no longer alone.

I feel blessed the day our Heaven was found.

Our House became Our Home.
