They fight and protect our country every day. I will forever be grateful for each and every one of them.
Boots. Dog Tags. Camouflage. Distance.
That is what life is for many years for some.
Alone. Afraid. Worried. Proud.
Emotions you feel every single day.
Guns. Wounds. Shouting. Air Strikes.
Words you think of about the war.
Freedom. Respect. Home. Braveness.
Ways to describe those who protect our Home.
Tears. Laughter. More Tears. Screaming.
Reactions to seeing them just once again.
Pain. Sweat. Blood. Even more tears.
Fear of never seeing them just one more time.
Numbness. Empty. Broken. Confused. Dead inside.
Feelings one feels when losing someone who died protecting our country.
Don't let a day go by without saying 'I love you,' you never know when you'll see someone for the last time.
Treasure your loved ones and respect those who risk their lives to keep us safe.
