Opening Again with Attention

The moon is the love of my life and, honestly, I should be giving her much more attention.

Stop paying attention to everything else and focus on me.“—Hannibal's basic undertone in everything he did and said to Will Graham ever.

I need attention

Like skulls that need

Cleaning.

Waiting for love as

I can’t stop jumping

From walls

Needing to feed

For attention from

The hugs I take,

The sex I feed.

Opening the book,

Opening a chapter,

Just for a little touch

Of attention.

I’m cutting myself open

As I use my red ribbons

To tie myself up.

Running in circles

For attention and heights

I could never reach.

Feeding on death

Like the attention

I taste on my cat

Like tongue.

If you’d love me,

You would’ve gave

Me attention

Affection

Sometimes... as humans, we crave attention but even that can be considered a disorder. But, as kids, we do not always get the love we should have been given. When you get older attention is harder to get but the question is... Who should we blame?

A Little Advice

Don't fall in love just because someone pays a little bit of attention to you.
