"My mouth is dry from a stage of fright..."

My mouth is dry from a stage of fright created inside of these desperate cries

It rings into my ears so that my ears can no longer hear even without wax

My tongue is filled with sores that are rubbing against my gums

And I know I should have seen a dentist to prescribe me something to get better

But the cotton between the hole inside my mouth refrains me from the truth I face

That a monster lives deep down there

It's waiting to crawl up and devour my whole soul

Take away the teeth that are white from truth

And push all guilt from my heart into the depths of who I really am

So that I just become a speck flying across the planets in the universe

Because the monster says the more I try to become who I am not

The more I let him loose

But it's so hard to be who you are

When you have a whole room of deceitful beings telling you to be anything but
