So, you think that because I am a woman, I am weak.
My body frail and my power meek.
But let me tell you this-
I am a storm. I have wings of bliss.
I have risen and I have conquered through this mess,
Not beaten by chaos or stress.
For I am a woman, I am strong and I am powerful.
Though you, you are corrupt and cowardly.
Women are on the rise,
I can see the fear in your eyes,
As I stand in front of yours with an ambiguous gaze,
Full of courage, to myself I praise.
For I escaped this, you.
I am now free, I knew
Because I am a woman. A strong and powerful woman.
I have conquered and I have risen.
I think it wise that you fear my rise,
I think it great that I make your bones shake.
For I am a storm who powered on through your games,
I rose above them, I have no shame.
Empowered women empower women.
I am a woman, I have escaped,
I am free, now watch this space.
I am a storm, I am free, I have escaped, but most of all,
I am a woman, and never did I fall.
