On Bended Knees

Welcome to the 21st century

A time where a lot of things have gone wrong with humanity

It raises big questions and odd answers

2000 + 16, what a year I must say

Probably one which would be omitted in my biography

Tough times, tough calls, tough period

Stale red blood river, close call, unfreeze it.

Betrayal, lies and deceptive cons

Delays, disappointments, decimals

I did pull through, I did survive

I did breathe into me a fresh new life

At some point I forget a friend

One who has been there for me

The one I could always talk to

The only one who loved me for me

The one who cared about my happiness

He was always there when I needed him

But I never called, so many worries

It seems like I even only call when I am in trouble

And never appreciate you enough

Am glad to have you as part of me

Because you gave me everything I needed

You don't get enough credit for who you are

Even from me, such a burden it is

I love you for everything, forever I will

Because you are all I have got.

And so I come to you, with joy and happiness.

Because you helped me overcome my sadness

Not everyone understands you like I do

Some do maybe, but probably very few

Maybe a lot though, probability feud

But with hands up reaching towards the sky

And knees kissing the ground so dearly

I do come to you on bended knees

Waves may come, I may fall

But I am still grateful to have you save me, whenever I call
