A Poem

You deserve better then I can give you.

I’m the bronze medal,

You deserve the gold and flowers.

Someone to stay strong,

Make you shake just by a touch.

You deserve everything you give me.

I won’t let you go,

Because I’m greedy.

And the others who came before you didn’t make it to the arena.

I hope you still will wear me around your neck,

Even when you get the opportunity to hold a shiny gold medal.

I hope you stay

With your bronze medal in hand held tight.
