I will not keep my mother’s worry,

my father’s judgement or caution.

I am too in love with myself,

with my existing,

to carry their pains

to the ends of my bloodline.

I AM the beginning and end of myself,

and the knot that holds me in transition.

I AM whole with love for my being.

wholly in love with my essence.

I AM the manifestation

of the love

of myself.

I AM the heart

taking on the stretching

of form.

my words graze my skin

and become

my song,

my sounding.

and i remember that I am real,

that this

is very real.
