Odd Socks

An Original Song

She's like that letter that you put on the table,

So you'd know where she was when you need her.

In the blink of an eye, she'll be out of sight

And for quite some time you won't know where she's gone.

Maybe she likes it in the place where the odd socks go;

Hidden from the world and down a hole

And sometimes she'll pop up in a place where you've never looked before

But sometime you'll have to understand that here is not her home.

She's hiding away from the world,

She watched the news and saw abuse.

She had to go.

She's hiding away from this scary world,

She watched the news and saw abuse.

She chose to go.

Maybe she likes it in the place where the odd socks go;

Hidden from the world and down a hole

And sometimes she'll pop up in a place where you've never looked before

But sometime you'll have to understand that here is not her home.

Maybe she likes it in the place where the odd socks go;

Hidden from the world and down a hole

And sometimes she'll pop up in a place where you've never looked before

But sometime you'll have to understand that here is not her home.

It's not her home.

Down a hole.

Not her home.

Where the odd socks go.
