It's early October,
the leaves have turned, and died beautifully.
The death of the winter, cold and harsh but for now the sun stays to bring warmth to our hearts.
When it has vanished we have our fires, our sweaters, and of course our lovers.
but those without will suffer and die.
Loving the seasons isn't rare,
but if you had to choose which one would be your last why wouldn't you choose now?
It's simply beautiful with red and yellow splashed leaves like Mother Nature turned into an artist just for a little while. Now before we turn to ice, and Jack Frost will freeze our hearts; solid snow.
rock hard like the stones from the river bank you visited as a child.
Now these things are gone, because you left them—
what's stopping you from skipping pebbles, is it because simply the weather is too cold, or is it your heart.
