Ocean view in Iceland
Eyes so blue they could make the ocean cry tears of salty happiness and beautiful despair
For the ocean no longer looks of that crazy blue for she is filled with garbage from me and you
Why must we pollute her gorgeous waves? And carry it on day by day?
Do we not see with such beautiful eyes the careless ways we’ve hurt those tides?
Her waters were once so pure and clean and now she’s like a washing machine, with remnants left behind we don’t care to pay any mind
It’s sad what we’ve done to you, oh beautiful ocean, oh beautiful blue

more than just words on a page, but feelings that I can no longer keep enclosed in the vicinity of my heart or mind.
