Obscure Words

This Façade We Show to the World

Looking through these blue eyes of mine

I see the beauty of the world

Just as I see it as revolting and dishonourable

People call me selfish and ignorant

They have not seen what I have seen

They have not felt what I have felt

So,

I wear these words on my face

No.

Not just words but these facts and truths

Why can’t you see through the façade?

Can you not see through my blue eyes that are holding in the waves?

I am beckoning you to hear these cries of mine

I am right here!

Calling out for help

Why can’t you read what I have written or hear what I am saying?

I have expressed in both ways

It is now up to you to open your eyes and see through this façade

Let the mist clear once again so the truth may be heard and the lies to be seen

Consider these beautiful blue eyes of mine and see the words written all over my face

My blonde hair is up so that you may read what has happened to this world of mine

My cries will fade but these words will stay

I am right here!

Calling out, indeed
