Nothing

I'm hollow.

I'm hollow

Said a million times

A billion ways

Behind a smile

Through gritted teeth it's there

It's nothing

That's what I say anyway

I say it all

In a way to dissuade them from seeing

They'd only worry too much

They'd see it their way

They couldn't fully understand

I fold in on myself like paper

And leave a cardboard cutout to smile for me

Cause everything I am and was

Is wherever you are right now

It follows you like a ghost

You won't see me

You won't answer back

You will never know

I used to let you in

But it let me to regret

You used to be here

All I want is the ability to forget

Or the sweet release of social death

Avoid the people

The obligation

Avoid when you decide you need me

Then you can understand what they can't
