Note to self

I wish I could bring myself to love you

But you are full of faults

So many errors down to your core

Where they say it really matters

Your smile

So precious

Your laugh

So quaint and ever changing

Your mannerisms that preach a word that you yourself are found incapable of following

Words that make such sense but

Could never be applied to your sad little life

You mess of broken dreams

A puzzle that may never be solved

As all the pieces do not match

The advice giver

The one who can’t seem to figure out what they want in life

But is quick to try and guide others

As if you think you have that credibility

Hypocrite

The fact that you try and break the cycle

Is pathetic and sad to watch

Not even sad to watch

Most people won’t even acknowledge your existence

Nonetheless your art

Your poetry

Your mockery of a creative thing

You’ll never live up to your own standards

No matter who coddles you

No matter who tells you you’re talented

You have nothing

Just a sad lonely existence

And still you’re going forward. I’m proud of you.
