Not Your Problem

You know, I’m just so tired.

Tired of people telling each other what to do.

Especially, when it comes to life.

Stop telling me what kind of job I should get,

--because I’m going to do what makes me happy.

Stop telling me what my future should look like,

--because I’m still trying to figure it out myself.

Stop giving me your opinions on how I should live

--because I could honestly care less.

Stop telling me not to worry so much

--because that just makes everything so much worse.

Thinking about the future is terrifying for everyone.

But people telling me how mine should be,

--confuses me and gives me anxiety.

No one should ever tell someone else how to live their life.

Nobody shares the exact same experience in life.

So, here’s one last thought,

Everyone is different in their own way.

So, respect people’s decisions.

Even if your views on life are the complete opposite.
