It's personal...

I admit.

This was an In My Feelings type of vibe.

Question?

Have you ever gave all your time and energy to someone just for them to throw away everything you built over some bulls%$!

Let me stop.

Going through that pain of confusion and misunderstanding for who I expected "Her" to be vs. who "She" actually was.

Made me realize.

  1. Everything happens for a reason.
  2. It helped me better myself.

If it wasn't for that heartache I don't think I would have the mindset I do today; the patience alone has improved tremendously.

As I wrote, "You wasn't the one, Not for me," that's when it sank in that I need to set standards for my significant other.

She might not have to meet all the requirements but meeting the basics is a must.

My ex and I weren't really compatible.

We probably cared for one another—though not in the way of which you would call "Love."

More of which you would call "Lust."

Never will I point the finger of who was to blame in that relationship because it takes two to tango and let me tell ya. We were dancing our hearts away. (LOL)

(Regardless of how I expressed myself in my music, that's just how I felt.)

No, in all seriousness. If you don't fight through the pain. It will eat you alive. At the time of writing "Not for Me," it was extremely difficult.

Once, I overcame it. I've became Stronger/Wiser/Better.

My Other Half out there somewhere. Until then.

Blessings are on the way!
