You know what they don't tell you what happens in the Eye of a Hurricane.
It's deafening, and timeless. They say 'soon you'll start hearing things'. you start to see color but that changes too.
Once people say it enough, it's real.
Exit signs don't exist
And I'm forced to watch. Round and round, Chaos whistles the tune of death.
No one followed the trail of misery but somehow I managed to get caught up in it.
Is that why I seem so.. nevermind.
It spirals out of control, you can't do anything, just let it linger and fester, the disease is a constant reminder.
And you do nothing? of course.
Let the maggots squirm and eat at you as if you were a dead animal on the side of the road, a hit and run.
Glory was within your reach, but you let that go too.
You weren't worth the time.
You weren't even worth the effort.
