No Valentines

No Kisses

No Valentines

No kisses to share with the misses

Or anyone for that matter

Like a home with no fences

The trenches where I'll roam

By my lonesome

I'm used to the darkness

I've come in contact piquing no interest

To any one in particular

Love is a privilege

Recommended to the worthy

Even the dirtiest pictures

That I've discovered

Two star crossed lovers

An endeavor beyond my comprehension

Succumb to singular vision

It's been years since I've known such

I hardly would recognize

Or let alone know how

Forgotten, I improvise

Pretending when u know its facade

Even though flawed

Looking for failures

So the patrons applaud

Hope is dissolved

When you're stepped over

Why I'm clutching the bottle

I make love to not being sober

The latest trend I'm guessing

I'm probably better off

Never knowing about love

Or even the cost

They say love will love you

Regardless of circumstance

But how the fuck does that apply

With many high expectations

I'm facing inflation

Solely cause

heartbreak
