No Soul

I am empty, a dark void, my thoughts I can never let you see, I hide my true nature, I wear my mask. I have no soul, and you wouldn't even know.

I walk around smiling like everyone else,

but I am hiding a secret.

I have no soul. I don't feel what you feel,

I don't know any Joy. I only feel empty.

I like it this way, In the darkness I stay.

I hate your laughter, I despise your smile,

All that you are, it isn't worth my while. You

disgust me with your happiness. I dream of

Dark places, I like where I hide. I must be

Careful, I don't slip too far. I hear the darkness calling, It wants me to give in.

It wants me to stop fighting, bad things I must do. I sold my soul to the devil and he wants yours too.

Be careful and wise, Don't be a fool. You'll end up like me too.

No soul. Just dark. Walking around with no heart.
