I've been stranded in my own desert for quite some time
Even though its one I made for myself
My radio only has one station
And the other end doesn't seem
To receive my cries for help
Day after day,
I spiel my unconditional longing
Want to go back to where I used to be
Where I had open arms to lie in
Where I was happy
Where I was listened to
Endless hours spent clawing at my only chance
Of surviving this pool of death,
Were wasted speaking into this radio
That I wasn't even sure had someone listening any longer
I've waited as long as I could
Before giving up on a miracle rescue
From this place,
I'm being forced to call home
If there's no one on the other end,
There isn't one on this side either
