No One Understands
Tales From a (Previously) Depressed Mind
No one
understands
the rope
we carry
around our necks.
The blood we’ve stained on our hands.
Heaven delivered the sun and it had to be balanced with shades of darkness.
They don’t understand, the invisible sand of destruction that slips into our conscious almost every day, because they’re too busy living their lives in their normal human ways.
They don’t understand, what we go through, how it feels…
It’s like a never-ending yo-yo, up and down like a ferris wheel.
If they wanted stones, they couldn’t break our bones more than our minds are already broken.
They don’t understand. To them, we’re just fools… falling into a hole of irrational fuels.
No... never, and they never ever will. They don’t understand this feeling we want to kill.
