No Man's Land

Time's Accession

I had kept my hands

Holding on

To things

Bound in illusion

I kept my heart

Locked in a case

Hoping

You would recognize

My face

I kept this tongue

Still in your Silence

Hoping

You would hear my song

I let go of myself

Trying to show you

That you were worth

Holding on.

And Now....

Now

I unclasp

My handsI free

This wild heart

I sing my song

To show the world

I am no longer afraid

To claim Me

For Myself.

I take back my Silence

And I will dance with abandon

I'll ignite these fears

That have kept me hidden

I will move mountains

With these eyes

That hold the axis of eternity

I will not be ashamedof the

Sway

Between my thighs

I will not apologize

For

All

That

I

Am

I will not question myself

In the face of those who do not understand

I will

Stand

True.

Even if

I'm the only one

to Wander

No Man's Land.

About the Creator

Heather Climer

A chaotic combination of music, molecules, color and curiosity. Fueled by no small amount of caffeine, I find inspiration in the world around me, and do my best to represent my reality.
