The Chaos of 'Yes' Vs. The Simplicity of 'No'
“Yes…
Absolutely…
Exactly…
Gladly…
Of course…
Certainly…
Definitely…
By all means…
Naturally…
Sure thing…
Yes…Okay…”
Why are you so obedient?
Is this who you are?
Is this who you want to be?
What are your beliefs? Ah, ah, ah- not theirs. Yours.
Why don’t you object?
How did you come to be like this?
Have you always been? Or have you been trained?
Are you a slave to the life script of your parents? Do you want to be?
Do you like to be walked upon? Are you a doormat?
Do you like to welcome more than your capacity into your responsibility? Are you a mule?
Do you like to be interrupted?
Do you like to serve without gratitude?
Who molded you in this way?
Have you given them thanks for their efforts to make you this way?
Are you independent? Co-dependent?
Do you want to be who you are?
"No."
It’s ironic how there’s so many ways to say “yes,”
yet there’s really only one clear way to say “no.”
