Nights to Remember

A Poem

By Jenna HawesPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Warm nights.

The sky glowing with purples and blues.

Soft fingers tracing down the curvature of my spine.

All while embracing the way the sunlight touched your skin.

Lost in the depths of your eyes, I laid there restlessly.

The grass scratching underneath my thighs, and you leaned over to kiss me.

With your nose pressed against my chin, I felt you exhale.

I looked up, and in that moment,

I knew that this was an undying love.
