Nightmare

Taken innocence of a child

I screamed in horror,

and tried my hardest to escape

Nothing seemed to help

as the nightmare overtook me

I reached out my hands,

hoping to be saved

I called out your name

but you never answered

I begged and I pleaded

as I began to feel pain

It felt as if I was being stabbed,

and all I could do was cry

I wanted to be held,

and this growing pain to soon be gone

You took away everything I had,

especially my pride and dignity,

and my self esteem is soon no more

How could you do this to an Innocent,

Especially at the age of seven
