Nightmare

Creaking of the floor boards

As it closes in

She begin to shed tears

Grabbing her flashlight

She runs from the room

Fearing her doom

She trips, falls, and screams out

Calling for her parents

She wakes up with a start

Her worried mother beside her

Not waking again for the rest of the night.
