Don't give in.

Tick, Tock, It's 01:30 am

You did it again, that which you promised not to

Did you make an effort not to break your promise?

Did you even show any form of resistance?

Back to the point of origin

After falling down a high slope

Decide you can't win, no matter what you try

Had a bad day and you feel you have failed yet again

You sit in front of the mirror talking to yourself

You are messed up, you know that

This ain't the life you signed up for

What happened to the dreams?

What's happened to the hopes?

JHU isn't gonna knock on your broken door

You, the one in charge of You

Life is meant to crush you

But you were never meant to give in and break

You are the architect of your dreams

Put your disappointments to more use

Don't give tonnes of meaningless excuses

Forget about the life you thought you knew

Wake up to the matrix of reality

If you don't handle this early, it gets harder

But already you seem to fall deeper in this pit

But luckily for you, you are not out of reach

Get up, stand up, chin up

Don't compare your achievement with no one

Fight back to be better that you were

The only limit to your greatness is you

With these words, and head down

With eyes filled with tears and almost dead hope

He dusts his vest and put on his muscles

He takes a decision to fight back

But who is to say he won't slide down the slope tomorrow

And then the cycle continues

Before going to meet the stars,

He pulls out a note he wrote couple of years back

"if anyone can do it, so can you

The only difference is you can do it better"

A smile at last, the true smile that brought out a long lost dimple

Light are off, the sun went to bed

It had showed T'challa the way and a ray of hope

Now he must fight for the dream he has

But he is not alone, he has a got a friend

A friend in a mountain very high.
